Description
The purpose of this course is to provide a brief overview of HIV and AIDS, the current state of the epidemic, and how HIV is transmitted, diagnosed and managed. The protection of healthcare workers against HIV infection is also reviewed.
This course meets the HIV and AIDS requirements for the Florida Board of Nursing, but also contains general information relevant to healthcare professionals in other states and professions.
