Course Overview

This (1) hour course will teach healthcare professionals about the structures and functions of the central and peripheral nervous systems. Understanding the fundamental structures and functions of both the peripheral and central nervous systems, will allow you to provide care for all patients you encounter and intervene effectively for those with alterations in neurological status.

By the end of this course, you will have the skills to:

✔️ Identify the functions of various anatomical structures within the central and peripheral nervous systems.

✔️ Describe the functions of the central and peripheral nervous systems.
