Elder Abuse

This (1) hour course will inform healthcare providers about elder abuse recognition, management, and reporting.

By the end of this course, you will have the skills to:

✔️ Define major types of elder abuse.

✔️ Identify the behaviors and situations that put a person at risk for being abused or being the abuser.

✔️ Discuss the red flags that indicate abuse is taking place.

✔️ Describe how to report abuse to the proper authorities.
