Diagnosis and Management of Acute Coronary Syndrome

The purpose of this two contact hour continuing education course for nurses and APRNs is to provide an in-depth review of Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), with an emphasis on unstable angina (USA), Non-ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (NSTEMI) and ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI). The pharmacological management of ACS, coronary revascularization options and nursing management of the patient is also covered in this presentation.
