Recovering from Stroke: Post Stroke Rehabilitation

The purpose of this (3) hour course is to provide healthcare professionals with information about stroke rehabilitation. The course provides an overview of the purpose of stroke rehabilitation and the nurse’s role in rehabilitating the post-stroke patient.

By the end of this course, you will have the skills to:

✔️ Discuss the importance of early initiation of post-stroke rehabilitation.

✔️ List members of the multidisciplinary team.

✔️ Identify five types of stroke disabilities and discuss their management principles.

✔️ Review pain assessment and management in the post-stroke patient.
